'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Channels 'OITNB' in Tell-All Prison Book: Read First Entry
Move over Orange is the New Black, Teresa Giudice is about to have the best-selling prison book on the shelves. That's right, The Real Housewives of New Jersey superstar has been busy putting pen to paper while she has been locked up in her Danbury, Connecticut jail cell. Teresa is serving out her 15-month fraud sentence and has been documenting how life has been since getting thrown in prison. While many speculated that the star would be turning her rough experience into a golden opportunity, the first couple of entries from her diary have been released, and it documents the star's prison routine, from watching Empire, to calling her girls, and seeing her husband when he comes to visit.
According to Us Weekly, Teresa's lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. explained that the book will not only detail her highly buzzed about prison sentence, but also her life prior to accepting the plea deal.
"It's going to be about growing up from humble beginnings," the lawyer explained to the site. "She will also tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars."
Radar Online is also writing about what is sure to be a bestselling book, saying that the RHONJ gal is keeping a powder blue journal to turn into a memoir when she gets out of the slammer.
In one of the entries, Teresa prays to God for help in her situation.
"I called the girls after school today. I miss them so much. They are all I think about all day long," Giudice writes. "I pray that God helps me to go back home to be with my daughters and husband. Please God help me."
