John Corbett To Release His Follow Up Album “Leaving Nothin' Behind” On February 5
Singer and actor John Corbett who is well known for his appearance in TV comedy-drama series "Sex and the City" and as Ian Miller in the 2002 movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" will be releasing his second album, "Leaving Nothin' Behind."
The 51-year-old actor had released a full-length country music album titled "John Corbett," April 4, 2006. The album was co-produced by D. Scott Miller and Tara Novick in Nashville. The album's only single "Good to Go" reached number 43 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The singer had also gone on a tour to promote his album.
Songwriter Jon Randall Stewart has co-written seven of the ten songs in the album. The album is produced by Gary Paczosa.
But Corbett has not given up yet. He has come back for a second album titled, "Leaving Nothin' Behind" that will be released Feb. 5, 2013. This album is a follow-up act by Corbett. "Honestly, I waited too long. I wanted to make another record about three years after I made the first one. It's been seven years. I made it in '05 right around Thanksgiving and I wanted to make another one three years later, but life gets in the way," Corbett told Country Weekly.
Corbett also shared that his favorite songwriter was Jon Randall Stewart. Corbett will tour to promote his new album, starting Feb. 24 in Sellersville. Pa., Country Weekly reported.
