Russell Wilson Talks Ciara & Abstinence in Their Relationship: "Pray for Us"

Russell Wilson is apparently in love! MStars News has learned that the NFL star revealed huge details about his relationship with R&B singer Ciara, including their non-existing sex life. Wilson claims that the couple is abstaining from sex before marriage!

During an interview at San Diego's The Rock Church, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback revealed how they met and even believed that Ciara was supposed to be with him from the beginning (via Us Magazine).

Wilson claims that God spoke to him one time while he was waiting in the singer's dressing room during one of her shows on tour.

"She was on tour, she was traveling. I was looking at her in the mirror," Wilson explained. "She was in the dressing room getting ready to go before she went on stage, and she was sitting there, and God spoke to me and said, 'I need you to lead her.' And I was like, 'Really?' And he was like, 'No, I want you to lead her.' So I told her, 'What would you do if we took all of that extra stuff off the table and just did it Jesus' way?' And she was relieved."

Clarifying what he meant by "Jesus' way" he said he was "talking about sex."

"I knew that God brought me into her life to bless her and for her to bless me, and to bless so many people," the athlete said. "With the impact that she has and the impact that I have-we're not going to be perfect by any means. Life is not perfect. Nobody is perfect. But He's anointed both of us, and he's calling us to do something miraculous. And I told her-and she completely agreed-that we love each other without that. If you can somebody without that, then you can really love."

Don't think it's easy for these two hot and sexy people, though. Russell admitted that he wanted everyone to pray for him and Ci-Ci in their relationship.

"I ain't going to lie to y'all now, I need y'all to pray for us. I know y'all seen her on the screen. If there's a 10, she's a 15, so pray for me. I gotta keep my mind clear and my heart clear," he said.

When it comes to his feelings for the singer, Wilson said that his woman was special, because he knew he wanted to be with her before they had even laid eyes on each other.

"She's a sweetheart. She's everything you could ever want. Yeah, she's a special girl, honestly," Russel said. "I met her like five, six months ago. The funny thing is, I told somebody that she was the girl I wanted to be with before I even met her. It was before I met her, I was like, I'm probably going to end up with Ciara. True story."

Wilson didn't hold back when talking about Ciara's past, like her public breakup from rapper Future. Ciara was set to walk down the aisle and marry the rapper back in 2014 after giving birth to their son, Future Zahir Wilburn. Wilson too had a public breakup, he was previously married to Ashton Meem from 2012 to 2014.

"She's been through some heartaches; I've been through some heartaches. I was married before. I married a person I went to high school with. I met her when I was 15," he explained. "That didn't work out unfortunately. For me, I just trust that God would do the healing process; that he would figure things out for me. I've gone through some ups and downs and all of that. I had to really, really focus on walking in the Spirit and living in it. I met this girl named Ciara, who is the most beautiful woman in the world. She is the most kind woman in the world. She's the most kind person; the most engaging person. She's everything I could ever want."
