Rick Ross New Album Title ‘Mastermind,’ ‘Magic City’ To Turn Him Into An Actor, His First

Rapper Rick Ross is all pumped up to release his sixth studio album. He announced the title for the album, calling it "Mastermind," Jan. 8.

The 36-year-old rapper dished out a promotional video clip which has drinking Ciroc Vodka with a model in a hot tub and on the background a record from Curtis Mayfield was playing. And in the end rapper reveals that his upcoming album will be called "Mastermind."

In 2012, the founder of Maybach Music Group, Ross dropped his fifth album "God Forgives, I Don't." His album opened up at number one and sold 218,000 units since its release.

 Acting Debut

Ross is now not just a rapper but also an actor. He will make his debut in second season of American drama television series, "Magic City" that rolls in Starz network.

Fans will see the rapper in Magic City's second season of the series. The story is set in the Miami, Florida in the 1950s. The background is mafia-inspired, HipHopDX reported.

The trailer shows Ross delivering a dialogue: "God is good... Until he ain't."

Ross whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II worked as a correctional officer at the South Florida for eighteen months in the 1990s. He released his debut album August 2006, titled "Port of Miami."
