Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Garnett Fight: Knick's Athlete Waits By Celtics Bus After Game To Fight [Video]
After an intense New York Knick's vs. Boston Celtics game, all-star athlete, Carmelo Anthony wanted to fight Kevin Garnett after the game ended. After fouling out of the game, Anthony and Garnett shared some words which later led Anthony to the Celtics locker room and then to the Celtic's team bus outside the Madison Square Garden.
The shouting match between the athletes almost had gotten physical and both players were parted by teammates and were given technical fouls. Still fuming by Garnett's trash talking - which he is widely known for in the NBA- Anthony was spotted by the photographers waiting for the player by his tour bus. Police and security were on the scene and the two did not see or speak to one another.
Post-game arguments are known in the NBA and are eligible for fines. Last November, the Memphis Grizzlies' Zach Randolph was given a $25,000 fine for confronting Kendrick Perkins of the Oklahoma City Thunder. A fine and a suspension may be handed to Anthony after an investigation is conducted by the NBA.
