'DWTS' Romance: Kate Hudson, Derek Hough Dating Rumors Stirred Up After NYC Lunch

Are Kate Hudson and Derek Hough just having a May through September romance or is this summer fling going to last well into the winter? Only time can tell, but the Dancing With the Stars hottie and the A-list actress were just spotted together, yet again. They first set the rumor mill into overdrive when they were spotted at a U2 concert with Derek's sister Julianne Hough, a few months ago. However, since then, the two have been spotted a handful of times together, and just this week these lovebirds headed out for lunch together in New York City.

Us Weekly reported that the couple was first spotted getting cozy with one another at the concert, as a source told the site, "[Kate] hugged [Derek] and they kept their arms around each other for a while before letting go."

According to Radar Online, Kate and Derek were spotted by the paparazzi as they made their way out of a Japanese restaurant in the East Village on Wednesday, July 9. While their get-togethers have been sporadic over the last couple of months, the stars have definitely gotten a lot of people asking whether or not they are really a couple enjoying dates together.

The rumored boyfriend and girlfriend looked super summery, and even matched, in their outfits of choice. Kate sported a cutout denim romper that showed off her extremely in-shape body, while Derek, who also went for the denim look, wore dark jeans and a blue button-down that he paired with a baseball hat.

If the two are an item, it would be the 36-year-old actress's first relationship since calling it quits from her husband and Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy, back in the winter.
