From the man who brought you the Austin Powers movies, director Jay Roach continues the political satire The Brink on HBO. In Episode 4, I'll Never Be Batman, can Rafiq Massoud (Aasif Mandvi) and Alex Talbot (Jack Black), and Walter Larson (Tim Robbins) work out negotiations before World War III starts?

With his health deteriorating, Walter is on the phone with President Julian Navarro (Esai Morales). Walter needs Alex to handle negotiations with General Ahmed Ali, which Robert Kittredge (John Larroquette) doesn't approve of. If Alex handles the negotiations perfectly, then the general won't kill him.

With two woman in his life, Zeke (Pablo Schreiber) realizes he probably has to be a good father and take care of all his kids somehow. His ex-wife and mistress don't need to know about each other. Zeke can be like Batman and keep one of them away from his Batcave, but deep down inside, he knows his plan will never work.

Covered in sweat and groaning in pain, Walter meets with Foreign Minister Rakesh Pandit (Ajay Mehta). While a cameraman is taking pictures of the two shakings hands, Walter finally makes a deal with the foreign minister. Knowing  things are going his way, Walter finally goes back to the hospital.

Alex now has 8 million dollars in cash for his negations but gets taken away by security. After a car crash in the middle of a traffic jam, Alex escapes from the security team and runs through the streets. After buying a bicycle from a random guy, Alex finally makes his way back to Rafiq. Knowing Rafiq's place is being tapped, Alex sets up a meeting with the general there.

While Walter is in the operating table, Mrs. Larson (Carla Gugino) wants his secretary to tell him that she took the job.  Before he goes under, Walter realizes his suspicions are true; the President is sidelining him. Pierce Grey is on his way over there; which doesn't give Walter enough time to recover.

During his mission, Zeke realizes he's in love with two women at the same time. Unable to focus, he doesn't realize his plane has been shot down. After parachuting his way out of the falling plane, Zeke lands safely on farmland territory but doesn't know where his co-pilot is.

Walter meets with Foreign Minister Rakesh Pandit again and threatens raise taxes on his trade agreement if his army strikes. After cooling down the situation, Walter continues to lie to the President, refusing to let Grey get a handle on the situation.

At Rafiq's place, Alex finally meets General Ahmed Ali (David Diaan). Though Alex hands him the money, he only manages to screw up the negations even further. What will the General Ali do when he doesn't get the submarine?

Elsewhere, Zeke finally finds his missing co-pilot. After a near scare at the field full of land mines, Zeke and his co-pilot hug it out, but are suddenly captured by enemy soldiers. A cow blows up behind them after it steps onto a land mine.
