Orlando Scandrick Apologizes to Draya Michele After Breakup: "I Still Love Her"
It appears that Orlando Scandrick is having some regrets about talking about his breakup with Draya Michele to the public. According to TMZ, Scandrick is apologizing to his ex and claims that he still loves her even after calling off the short engagement.
The Dallas Cowboys star said, "I want to apologize for my original statement. I let my emotions fly impulsively. Draya is a great mother, works hard and I wish her nothing but the best. I still love her."
MStars News previously reported that Scandrick claimed that he didn't want to get married to the Basketball Wives: LA star because it was a "poor decision."
"I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya," Scandrick previously stated. "In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose." He added at that time, "I am anxious to move on with my life both personally and professionally."
Since the on-again, off-again couple broke up again, the drama hasn't stopped; instead, it has become worse as the two continue to go back and forth via social media.
Draya previously called her ex "corny," following the tragic engagement news. She wrote on Instagram, "If you corny, you corny.. If you corny with money, U [You] still corny." Orlando didn't appear to like her words and wrote back, "Real [eyes emoji] realize lies."
The downward spiral didn't end there for Draya. MStars News also learned that there were rumors Draya purchased her own diamond engagement ring. We previously reported that the infamous gossip site, B. Scott, revealed that a source spilled the tea on the ring information.
"She bought the ring and her publicist planted the story. [Orlando] didn't propose. He has been trying to sort it out and figure out how to get the f*ck away from her for months! She wouldn't leave his house and was acting [like a] squatter," an insider previously claimed. "She used all her coins on it. And promised that jeweler he would get media attention blah blah blah."
But Orlando cleared up those rumors and claimed he did, in fact, get down on knee and propose with the ring he bought for her.
"LIES sometimes in life thing[s] don't jus[t] workout as planned. He added, "I purchased the ring. I proposed. There was no cheating involved, we just couldn't make it work."
But if we all thought the drama would finally end, it didn't. Draya put up an Instagram post that read, "Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have in trying to change others."
Scandrick responded to the comment with the words, "F*ck You."
Hopefully these two can learn not to share their emotions on the Internet.
If you think Draya's drama with her ex is crazy, it appears that her drama with rookie Basketball Wives: LA star, Mehgan James, will be even more insane.
