Lily Allen Baby Girl Name Marnie Rose, Welcomes Second Child Into the World

Brit pop singer Lily Allen has given birth to a baby girl, Jan. 8. Allen now called Lily Cooper welcomed her second child into the world. She has been named Marnie Rose.

Allen has been dating decorator and builder, Sam Cooper since July 2009. They both got engaged in December 2010 and got married June 2011. She gave birth to her first child, a daughter, Ethel Mary in November 2011.

She shared her happiness with the world with a post on Twitter that read, "Quite overwhelmed by all the well wishing going on. THANKYOU everybody x x x."

Allen had to go through miscarriage in 2010 when she was first reported pregnant. She was later treated for septicaemia. In 2007 too she had suffered another miscarriage when she was pregnant with the baby of The Chemical Brothers' star Ed Simmons.

She had a successful career with hits like "Smile" and "The Fear" and briefly retired from music in September 2009.

She was said to be working on new music producer Greg Kurtsin before she got pregnant again in July 2012. Allen had told Q magazine, "It's great to work at my own pace with no commitments other than to make music."

Allen is also a fashion designer and had opened a fashion rental shop "Lucy in Disguise" with her sister Sarah in 2010.
