WWE NXT Results 7/15/15: Sasha Banks Defends Women's Championship Against Charlotte

The July 15, 2015 edition of NXT airs on the WWE Network and features a main event between Sasha Banks and Charlotte for the NXT Women's Championship.

The show begins with Jason Jordan and Chad Gable against Steve Cutler and Elias Sampson. Jordan and Gable win when the former throws Sampson in the air and Gable drops him with a back suplex and a bridging pin.

Samoa Joe defeats Axle Tischer by submission.

We see a video package of Baron Corbin's time in other sports. He shows his four college football championship rings and discusses his time in the NFL and training with martial arts.

Eva Marie comes down to the ring and says she will make her in-ring debut in NXT next week. She tells the fans to get ready because "All Red Everything" is invading NXT.

Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy defeat Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton with their suplex and frog splash combo after Alexa Bliss distracts Dawkins and Fulton. After the match, Bliss tells her men to attack again, and they do. Bliss lands the Sparkle Splash on Dawkins to end the segment.

Sami Zayn enters the ring and thanks the fans for supporting him for the past several months. Unfortunately, he'll be on the shelf for the rest of 2015. He says when he heals, he's coming to take out Kevin Owens.

We see footage of General Manager William Regal at San Diego Comic-Con, where he announced that Finn Balor and Kevin Owens will have a rematch for the NXT Championship during the show in Brooklyn the night before SummerSlam at the Barclays Center on August 22.

Sasha Banks defeats Charlotte in a fantastic NXT Women's Championship match. She gets Charlotte to tap out to the Bank Statement despite Charlotte's attempts to roll Sasha into a pin. The two friends and rivals hug after the match.
