Justin Timberlake Ft. Jay-Z: 'Suit And Tie', New Song In 7 Years, Hate It Or Love It? [Listen]
Justin Timberlake bringing his "Sexy Back?" The singer posted a YouTube tease of his third upcoming album almost after disappearing from the music scene after the release of "FutureSex/LoveSounds" in 2006 in order to pursue his movie career. However, now you can hear his first single "Suit and Tie" featuring Jay-Z on iTunes.
The sexy singer has proved that he's grown up in the last decade, marrying Jessica Biel and continuing expanding his acting career. The long awaited return of the crooner to the music scene has finally come and the critics have spoken!
The Prophet Blog reviewed the album as: "'Suit & Tie' twists the classic sound into something much more interesting and inventive. There's the lethargic intro, the chopped & screwed post-rap breakdown, and all of the subtle production quirks that Timbaland has filled the song with. 'Suit & Tie' is, without a shadow of a doubt, a Justin Timberlake record."
Billboard's Jason Lipshutz appreciated Timbaland's beat saying: "'Suit & Tie' is a sleek, wholly assured dance number with several start-stop components arranged in a way that's reminiscent of the first Justified single, 'Like I Love You.' And like that track, Timberlake's falsetto is buttressed by a late-game rap verse, this time from Jay-Z, who supports 'tuxedoes for no reason,' as we all do."
Unlike many supporters, Chart Rigger noted his dislike, "The world waited six years and stayed up till midnight for this shit?" Ah, well. You can't please everyone.
