Heather Thomson Quits 'RHONY' Before Season 7 Finale: Co-Star Drama to Blame?

Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New York City might still be rolling out new episodes, but it looks like fans are going to have to get in all the Heather Thomson time that they possible can with the reality star, as she is planning on ditching the Bravo series after three seasons. That's right, Miss Holla is headed out. She has played a big part this season, as she has been at the center of drama with almost all of her housewives co-stars including Dorinda Medley, Bethenny Frankel, LuAnn De Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer, but it seems that the drama isn't what the starlet wants to focus her future on. Instead she is looking to greener pastures to continue developing her brand, Yummie.

According to Us Weekly, Thomson is hoping that the departure from the series will give her more time with her company, but also more time to spend at home with her family.

"She wants to focus full time on her business, Yummie, her family, and expanding into the health and nutrition arena," the source explained.

At this point in time, Thomson is happy to separate herself from the series, as the main reason behind why she wanted to do it was to promote her brand. However, it ended up with her doing a lot more fighting then promoting, according to IBTimes.

"The cons of doing the show far outweigh the pros at this point," an insider explained. "What the show has become doesn't fit what she wants to be doing. She did it to promote her business and it devolved into ridiculous fights over the ridiculous antics of some unstable women."

We will be sad to see Heather go, as she brings some much comic relief to the at times dramatic series. We previously reported that Dorinda Medley and Kristen Taekman are also on the chopping block.
