'Bad Girls Club' Murder, Fontino Hardy Jr. Dead, Richmond Gunshot Killing: Twitter #RIP Tribute
Reports confirm that former "Bad Girls Club" crush Fontino Hardy Jr. was shot and killed in Richmond on Tuesday evening (July 14). Apparently, four other victims were injured during two seperate shootings which ultimately resulted in Hardy's tragic death.
According to the local San Francisco CBS affiliate, authorities first responded to gunshots in the Monterey Pines apartment complex parking lot Tuesday afternoon. Police Sergeant Nicole Abetkov revealed that 29-year-old Hardy was discovered with severe wounds.
Officers initially performed "life-saving measures" before Hardy was transported to the Kaiser Permanente Richmond Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Another 17-year-old male was also shot near the same area, but currently remains in stable condition at John Muir Medical Center.
But just two hours later, law enforcement responded to another call at Pullman Point Apartments. They found evidence of gunshot fire, and Abetkov claims that three other men were also treated at Kaiser for wounds to their lower extremities. Their injuries are not considered critical.
Suspects are still at-large as of Wednesday (July 15), and it remains unknown if the two incidents are related. The violent situations are currently being investigated separately, and no motives have been established.
