Adrienne Maloof Threatens To Sue Brandi Glanville: Defamation Suit May Ruin Her Luxury Lifestyle?
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" keeps heating up. During a Moroccan dinner, Brandi Glanville admitted to the ladies that Adrienne Maloof is suing her.
During the fancy ethnic dinner that Kyle Richards and Marisa Zanuck hosted at a Morrocan restaurant in L.A. Brandi told the cast that Adrienne and her husband Paul Maloof are suing the reality star. Although the reasoning of the lawsuit wasn't disclosed in the episode, Brandi did admit it was due to a personal comment she made about Adrienne, "Adrienne has hired a lawyer and is threatening to sue me if I don't go to a meeting and sign a piece of paper saying that I won't talk about her or her family ever again," Brandi told them.
Could the lawsuit be over defamation of character or is Adrienne taking advantage of her large sum of money in the bank by intimidating Brandi. Known for her own personal battles with Lisa Vanderpump, she didn't hold back the theory, "I don't like the fact that Adrienne is intimidating Brandi with her financial power," Lisa said.
Kyle's husband, Mauricio Umansky decided to jump into the ladies drama and admitted his own legal woes saying, "Let me tell you something. I've received attorneys letters for a lot of things," he said. "I picked up the phone and made a phone call, and the attorney's letter went away in two seconds."
Adding fuel to the fire, Lisa stated, "Wait a second. Wasn't it Adrienne who said over and over again friends don't sue friends?"
Even though Brandi admitted to being guilty of saying harsh things about Adrienne, she believed that they were justified during the time, "I did say that...I did say it. And was I pissed? Mother f*ck yes I was pissed," Brandi yelled. "So go f*ck yourself. It's about my kids, and it's about my life, so shut the f*ck up!"
