Chris Brown Home Invasion: Blames Friends and Club Promoter?

Chris Brown was at a pre-ESPY Awards party in the Hollywood club Argyle when armed intruders broke into his California mansion. Home during the invasion was Brown's aunt. She was taken hostage during the situation. Law enforcement sources said the intruders came in knowing Brown lived there and now another revelation has come out. Brown believes some of his friends were in on it and police are saying the same thing. They weren't casual friends either. Apparently they were real close to the singer.

Authorities won't say who it is but they think the group of invaders was lead by a club promoter who recently paid Brown $50,000 for a nightclub gig.

Brown doesn't usually have money in his home so authorities say it had to be someone close to him. Only friends would know when his money is going to be in the house for a short time.

On top of this, the LAPD's Gang Unit was assigned to the case. There's a chance the Bloods were involved as well.

This isn't the first time an intruder was able to get into Brown's home with ease. Back in May, a mentally unstable woman walked naked throughout Brown's house. He revealed the woman left a bunch of voodoo iconography around his home and painted her name into his cars.

"I get home and find this crazy individual in my house," Brown said. "She had broken the hinges off the doors. She found time to cook her several meals. She wrote, 'I love you' on the walls. She threw out my daughters clothing as well as my dogs stuff. Then had all these crazy voodoo things around my crib. Goes to show you how crazy people are crazy! And she painted her name on my cars!!!! I love my fans but this is some on some real real crazy sh*t! I pray she will get help."
