Anne Hathaway Reacts on Twitter to Amy Schumer's 'Trainwreck' Oscar Diss, Joke

Amy Schumer never shies away from a joke and apparently, Anne Hathaway can take it. The Academy Award winner showed her good nature on Twitter when she tweeted Schumer after being the butt of an Oscar joke in the new movie, Trainwreck

From her topless GQ photos with R2-D2 and her hit movie Trainwreck, Amy Schumer is a star on the rise, who has been getting so much press and attention, both good and bad. Including some of her dating material that she has used in her stand-up, alongside some emotional depth regarding love, marriage and Amy's character's own complicated relationship with her father; Trainwreck will tug at heartstrings and make you laugh until you cry. A lot of her spunkiness of character comes out in the dialogue in the movie. Bill Hader is transformed into this straight, quiet, awkward guy; so much, that you can almost forget that it's Hader playing the part. Tilda Swinton is transformed as well as Amy's boss at a trashy tabloid magazine, Dianna. Not too much will be revealed here, but it's been pretty unanimous that Trainwreck is a must see!

Even Anne Hathaway saw the film on Monday and had to tweet to Amy to let her know how awesome the movie was and to graciously take a joke thrown at Hathaway's expense in the movie.  In her tweet, she referenced a movie scene that showed Hathaway carrying an award around at an Oscar party. Hathaway wrote, "Dear @AmySchumer. Don't pretend like when you win your Oscar - which you could for your brilliant and refreshing writing and/or acting in @TrainwreckMovie - you won't tote it around to every Oscar party you go to," reports People.

Schumer has been a hilarious comedian for years and years and her stand-up is on point and fearless and knocks you right in the funny bone. She has never been afraid to say anything that she thinks will get a laugh. This makes a lot of sense with the flack she's been getting from Disney/Lucasfilm about her scantily clad photos of her in bed with the well-known droids from the Star Wars franchise but Schumer is not afraid to be a trail blazer and is a truly gifted writer and actor in addition to her already established career as a comedian. Her writing and performance in Judd Apatow's Trainwreck seems to cement and prove this.

It's safe to say that you won't be disappointed when you go -- unless you can't handle brazen uninhibited humor, family drama and quirky love. Don't take our word for it, just ask Hathaway!
