Donald Trump, Anderson Cooper Twitter Beef: Slams CNN After Interview
Donald Trump recently did an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper. After the two were finished, the former Celebrity Apprentice star appeared to slam the reporter on Twitter, calling the interview a "waste of time." Which has us wondering: Has Trump picked up a new beef?
The Republican candidate kicked off his interview with Cooper by discussing the polls, in which he appears to not be threatened by negative reviews. He quickly switched topics to his opinion that Washington is run by lobbyists. On that, he believes what sets him apart from the crew is the fact that he's "made a lot of money," as he says.
To which Cooper responded, "I've heard."
Trump has famously been in the news lately for attacking the likes of Senator John McCain – in which he said he is not a war hero – and Senator Lindsey Graham, when he gave out his phone number during a press conference.
To the idea that he's "divisive" in the way he conducts himself, Trump admits, "They're saying horrible things... I don't even know these people. Am I supposed to say, 'Oh, it's okay?' I'm called a jackass, I have to fight back! Our country has to fight back."
Later on, when questioned about his actions regarding Graham's phone number, specifically if his actions were "presidential," Trump responded, "I think so. I think it's fine." He then assures Cooper that were he to become President, he believes that he would change his tone.
Take a look at the full interview (all three parts of it) over on CNN. But for a brief rundown, check out The Huffington Post's cut:
