Amy Duggar & Dillon King Wedding Canceled: TLC Not Filming Nuptials for Special
Amy Duggar might have just gotten engaged to her dream man, Dillon King, but it doesn't look like the couple will be getting the wedding that they had always hoped for. In fact, the former stars of 19 Kids and Counting have hit a snag as they prepare for the big day. While TLC canceled the fan favorite series earlier this month, it is being reported that they have also canceled plans to film Duggar and Kings wedding for an upcoming special.
According to In Touch, the wedding will still be taking place, but it just won't be filming for TLC. "TLC [called] us yesterday stating they have decided that they will NOT be filming our wedding and they are 'glad they got to work with us,' Amy's fiancé explained on his social media site. "So, Amy and myself apologize that we will not be able to share our special day with you all on the TLC network."
There is still a slight sliver of hope for fans, as according to Radar Online, they will still get to see the wedding and preparations for the nuptials through a new website that the couple is launching together.
In a similar way to the website that the Duggar family has, this site will keep viewers and followers up to date on all the happenings in Amy and Dillon's life now that their series has been canceled.
King also took to his Instagram account to post that the couple had started a YouTube account where fans can stay up-to-date with news about the couple.
