Bobby Brown on Daughter Bobbi Kristina's Death: "I am Numb at This Time"
Bobby Brown is suffering from a pain that no one probably can describe after losing his only daughter that he shared with the late Whitney Houston. MStars News has learned that the R&B singer is speaking out in the wake of the world learning that his daughter, Bobbi Kristina died, Sunday July 26 in hospice.
According to PEOPLE, Brown finally decided to speak out after losing his 22-year-old daughter.
"Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time," Brown, 46, said in a statement released by his lawyer the morning after his daughter passed away. "My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable."
The statement that no parent probably ever wants to share continued, "We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."
MStars News previously reported that Bobbi Kristina died near Atlanta at the Peachtree Christan Hospice care center. Her death was confirmed by the Houston family who also released a statement that read:
"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
MStars News has been with this tragic story since the beginning when Bobbi Kristina was found by her boyfriend, Nick Gordon and a friend in her bathtub unresponsive back in January.
"Yesterday Bobbi Kristina Brown took her place in heaven," Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown, said in his own statement. "Krissy fought to get well for months, however she has [succumbed] to her injuries."
In another PEOPLE report, a source claimed that Brown told his family members about Kristina's death himself. The site claimed that he's holding his emotions together as he prepared himself for what was coming.
"He is holding it together more than you'd expect," the source said. "He knew it was coming. Of course he's very emotional, but at the same time, he knows that Krissy is in a better place now."
"He is taking comfort in the fact that she's with her mother, and that there will be no more sadness or pain. She is at peace. He knows that, and is taking comfort in that," they added.
Besides the comments pouring in from family members, MStars News also learned that celebs including Oprah, Rosie O'Donnell, and more are also in mourning.
RIP Bobby Kristina.
