Ramona Singer, Mario Divorce: Threatened by 'RHONY' Fame? Does She Forgive Ex Husband?

Ramona Singer rocked the Real Housewives world when it was announced that she and hubby Mario Singer were calling it quits on their 22-year marriage. The Real Housewives of New York City star's divorce bombshell came shortly after it was revealed that Mario had stepped out on his wife with mistress Kasey Dexter. However, it looks like Ramona is finally at a spot in her life where she is able to move on from the betrayal. The star penned a new book, Life on the Ramona Coaster, where she discussed the collapse of her marriage, but she also opened up in a new interview about how it has been moving on from Mario.

The RHONY star explained to The Inquistr that she has come to the decision to forgive Mario and put the past behind her.

"Forgiveness is very important," the starlet explained to the news site. "Sometimes people just lose their way and you can't help them find it."

It has almost been a year since Ramona first realized that the relationship was over, according to Us Weekly, and one of the mainy reasons could have been because Mario wasn't putting effort in to save the marriage.

"I realized it was completely over last August," Singer revealed in the interview. "Two people need to try to make a relationship work and if you're both not in it to win it, it's not going to happen."

It seems that one of the things that Ramona realized was that it was her reality star fame that could have played a part in the collapse of her relationship.

"I can't go anywhere without someone recognizing me and that bothered him," Singer revealed. "Men like to feel important and it takes a very secure man [to live with that]."
