Donald Trump Staffer Sam Nunberg Fired Over Racist Facebook Posts
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump might be surging in the polls as of late during his run for the POTUS seat but it looks like his staff is having some tough times. Well, at least one staffer. Sam Nunberg, a member of Trump's staff, was reportedly fired due to some racist posts discovered on his personal Facebook page.
The uncovering of the former staffer's social media page came after reports of Trump losing a number of deals due to accusations of racist remarks during his presidential announcement speech.
In one of Nunberg's posts, he attacks Reverend Al Sharpton's daughter, calling her a racial name. He also labeled current President Barack Obama a "Social Marxist Islamo Fascist Nazi Appeaser," according to NBC News.
After the firing, Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski noted, "Mr. Trump would never condone such statements from anybody in his campaign even if that person had a low-level campaign position."
Nunberg was with the billionaire's team for a short time, Lewandowski added.
Donald Trump has made several headlines as of late for comments even outside of the alleged "racist" ones. The former Celebrity Apprentice star has created wars with the likes of Senator John McCain after claiming he is not a war hero; Senator Lindsey Graham when he gave out his phone number during a press conference; and Anderson Cooper after he called an interview he did with the journalist for CNN a "waste of time."
Despite all of that, he has managed to lead in the polls, per a report from The Wall Street Journal.
Folks, what are your thoughts on Trump's move to fire Sam Nunberg? How about the fact that he's leading in the Republican polls? Let us know below.
