Stephen Colbert ‘Late Show’ Promos [VIDEOS] Released Before Premiere
With the premiere of Stephen Colbert's Late Show coming up on Sept. 8, the show has just dropped the first-ever promos for the new CBS series. While the staff has been releasing a number of videos about the show over the past couple of months – from Colbert grabbing lunch with the viewers to him discussing Pluto with Neil deGrasse Tyson and even interviewing Eminem on Only in Monroe – the below videos are the first promos we've actually seen for the show.
And as you'd expect, they do not disappoint.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert dropped three promo videos, which show the host sans a beard and long hair, donning the suit we knew so well on The Colbert Report. Of course, he's without the character now.
In the first video, Colbert unveils the new book bag and trapper keeper he's bringing with him to CBS:
The second promo shows Colbert's magical side, performing a (failing) card trick for viewers:
The final, and perhaps the best, displays the new CBS host calling out the types of guests he'll be having on his show – including a Mitt Romney impersonator.
Or, well, the real thing.
Folks, which Colbert promo was your favorite?
After the videos dropped, Mitt Romney posted a behind-the-scenes photo to Instagram of him and Colbert. Check it out below:
We can all safely assume there's a phone in that wallet, right?
Be sure to tune in for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this coming Sept. 8 on CBS.
