'Dark Souls 3' Gameplay Demo Trailer, Release Date News: Gamescom 2015 Footage
Arguably one of the biggest announcements at the 2015 E3 events earlier this summer came from FromSoftware's Microsoft press conference update revealing Dark Souls III. We learned of the 2016 release date but didn't see any trailers or gameplay demo footage, but that's what Gamescom is for! The European video gaming expo was grounds for plenty of announcements, which included the first gameplay footage of the new game from the studio that gave us Bloodborne this year. Watching this new trailer, we get a heavy sense of Bloodborne as opposed to the Dark Soul series' past titles. We're not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but it looks like FromSoftware is trying to capitalize on the success of their most recent release. What do you think?
