Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Throw Secret Wedding Wednesday Night
Clearly, newlyweds Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux not only know how to throw a party, but they also know how to keep things hush hush. Wednesday evening they threw a top-secret wedding ceremony and reception in their Bel-Air home. People reports, "The couple tricked most of their guests into thinking they were attending a birthday party for The Leftovers star on Wednesday. The backyard nuptials featured a performance by Sia and guests included Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi." Courtney Cox was Aniston's maid of honor and Jason Bateman was cited as being an important member of the wedding party as well.
It was apparently a very intimate affair, chic and laid-back just the way the pair wanted. The ceremony took place inside and the back yard was set up with tables, candles and little puffs and cushions for the guests at the reception. "The intimate occasion was an obvious success...Guests danced to tunes by Michael Jackson, P. Diddy, Rihanna and Jay Z, and also celebrated Theroux's own personal milestone, singing happy birthday to [Theroux] at around 10 p.m. Aniston's BFF, Cox, was the last to leave the festivities at around 3 a.m., the source adds, right after DeGeneres and Kimmel made their own exits," CBS News says.
The couple has been engaged since 2012 and many times the couple's friends have suspected that the couple might spring the wedding on them. Aniston even told DeGeneres on her show, "It's funny actually, our friends Sacha [Baron Cohen] and Isla [Fisher] have shown up for parties, for little gatherings, about a year ago, they would show up in beautiful wedding wear...Even like, the Fourth of July last year, they showed up and Sacha was in a powder blue suit and Isla was in a little cute dress. And we were like, 'Guys, it's the Fourth of July, we're in cutoffs and eating hot dogs. We will actually let you know!'" CBS News reports. Obviously, Fisher and Cohen had the right idea!
The couple is already on their honeymoon and People says, "Aniston and Theroux arrived at the Polynesian island on Thursday via private plane, and the newlyweds wanted to enjoy the tropical paradise with a few of their famous and fabulous friends in tow. Here are the wedding guests who also got the vacation invite." What a fabulous time it looks like and check out the exclusive from People Now's video!
