DeSean Jackson, Kayla Phillips Baby News: Redskins Star Shares Ultrasound

Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson has a lot on his plate at the moment, and the impending birth of his child is one of them. In the latest episode of DeSean Jackson: Home Team, he finally got the chance to experience an ultrasound with his baby mama and girlfriend, Kayla Phillips.

In the clip below, DeSean was so shocked and amazed at the sight of his growing child. The football star was also anxious to know the sex of his new baby.

From the baby shower, MStars News learned that DeSean and Kayla are expecting a baby boy! Besides the happiness of having his child, DeSean also suffered a huge setback when he was injured during training camp.

This was the first ultrasound for DeSean, because he wasn't able to attend the other doctor appointment with his baby mama because she was in Virginia. This time around the couple set up an appointment to visit the OBGYN in Los Angeles.

"I felt that was important to be apart of that process," the football star said about being in his child's life. "It's very exciting to see my baby for the first time. I'm anxious and nervous a little bit, and it's just an opportunity for me to get ready and to see that it's real...I'm very excited."

As the doctor tried to find out the sex of the child, she explained to DeSean that it was probably too early to know. DeSean looked amazed as he watched his child move around in Kayla's stomach. You could see their baby's head and full body, but not the gender!

"I didn't know what to expect," the wide receiver admitted. "Seeing all the bones, the fingers, the eyes, the feet, and everything developing it was like, 'Man look what God can create."'

As they listened in to hear the baby's heartbeat, DeSean reflected on what he created and said, "I'm bringing in a human-being to this world, I'm so excited to have this happen in my life, it's going to change my life."

While DeSean and Kayla may be excited about having a little one of their own, MStars News has learned in the past that his mother, Gayle wasn't so thrilled.

She believed that Kayla could be pregnant with someone else's child and demanded a DNA test when the baby arrived. Gayle also believes that Kayla could be setting her son up as a meal ticket because of his NFL status.

Hopefully things will be smooth sailing once she finally meets her grandchild, but until then, the ultrasound photos will have to do some type of justice.
