CNBC's 'Make Me A Millionaire Inventor:' Deanne Bell & George Zaidan's Episode 1 Premiere!
CNBC will premiere Episode 1 of their new reality show/competition, Make Me A Millionaire Inventor. Hosted by engineering experts, Deanne Bell and George Zaidan, the two on-screen personalities will search the country for amazing idea that will make big money.
According to the plot synopsis, George and Deanne hit the road to help two inventors, who have risked everything for their prototypes. Eight months pregnant, Samantha DeMaria, of Hoffman Estate, IL, dreams of making her fortune by launching the Marinara Tower, an Italian take on the chocolate fountain. Meanwhile, best friends Anthony Gonzales and Bob Merriman, of Cypress, CA, are looking to make a name for themselves with Fit Guard, a high-tech mouth guard designed to protect athletes from harmful concussions.
According to Restaurant News, Brian Cassidy, CiCi's Pizza vice president of operations, will offer his insights to Samantha over her creation of the "Marinara Tower."
Cassidy states, "When I was first approached about this new show, I was immediately intrigued by its premise. Then, when the producers told me I would be presented with a Marinara Tower, I knew I had to check it out."
In an interview with Washington University, Bell describes her hosting duties, ""I love hosting this show because I get to use engineering to give inventors the confidence they need to go in front of venture capital investors. Most people have had a million-dollar idea, but not everyone is equipped with the skills or the connections to turn that idea into a business. That's where we come in. My role on the show is to help inventors develop a professional prototype and ultimately prepare them for a pitch with an investor that could change their lives forever. Sometimes it's exhilarating, and other times it's heart-wrenching, but I love giving inventors that big chance."
Make Me A Millionaire premieres on CNBC on Wednesday, August 12 at 10pm.
