Reggie Bush Unlikely to Return to Miami Dolphins in 2013: After Two Years in Miami, Running Back Reggie Bush will say 'Good Bye'

Reggie Bush spent the last 2 years as running back for the Miami Dolphins, but recent reports say that his time as a Dolphin is coming to an end and that he is unlikely to return for the 2013 season. Bush's two-year contract with the Floridian franchise is up and he will soon be a free agent. The star running back is likely to receive substantial offers from other teams.

Bush rushed nearly 1,000 yards for each of his 2 seasons with the Miami Dolphins, but he will start adding to a new team's yardage in the upcoming 2013 season. A move to another team is in Bush's interest since he will more than likely be offered a better contract than what he can get in Miami. The Dolphins have decided to let Bush go via free agency instead of drafting a new contract and paying him. Bush's position as an explosive running back was complimentary and essential to the Miami squad, but overall it is also an expendable role. The Dolphins are looking forward to the 2013 draft for Bush's replacement. They have 5 picks in the first 3 rounds in this year's draft. Running back success stories have been a common occurrence in the National Football League, such as a late draft pick in Alfred Morris last year. Plus the team is looking forward to paying a rookie salary to whomever they find to replace Reggie Bush.

Besides looking forward to a new team, Reggie has just as much excitement, if not more, off of the football field. Bush and girlfriend Lilit Avagyan are expecting have a baby on the way. Dating for over a year, Bush and Avagyan will welcome their child into their lives this summer. Another baby coming this summer is that of Reggie Bush's ex-girlfriend, Kim Kardashian. Bush and Kardashian had a highly publicized relationship in 2009 and into 2010, including marriage rumors and even a sex-tape. After the break-up Bush stayed away from the spotlight and was seen succeeding in his football career instead of the tabloids. Kardashian and new boyfriend, rapper/producer Kanye West, are expecting their child this July.

Reggie Bush has stated that he would like to stay in the Miami jersey, but it is smarter for him to move on to another team. Two teams most likely to have offers for Bush include the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions. Both franchises can benefit from the addition of the 28-year-old running back adding his explosive athleticism either team.
