'Rock Band 4' Songs, Tracklist Adds Van Halen's 'Panama' & More! Release Date News

Van Halen is arguably one of the biggest bands in rock n' roll history, yet none of their songs have appeared on any of the previous Rock Band video games' song lists-until now! Announced this week, gamers can play along to the number one hit single "Panama" by Van Halen in Rock Band 4, which has an Oct. 6, 2015 release date. Plus, more songs are available to add to your tracklist through the game's online music store! Read more on this news below.

If you're familiar with other music video games, you know that Van Halen was featured in Guitar Hero. The band's addition to the Rock Band series, though, allows gamers to play more than just guitar. You can sing along, play bass and/or drums with the songs now!

"For years we've wanted to bring Van Halen's music to Rock Band," Harmonix CEO Steve Janiak said this week, according to IGN. "Not only are the songs incredible in their own right, but they're amazingly fun to play and perform, whether you're on guitar, bass, drums, or vocals."
