Josh Duggar Admits Ashley Madison Cheating Scandal - '19 Kids' Star Talks Having Affair
Just when it seemed like it was safe to be a Duggar again, a new revelation has been sweeping the family. Since the 19 Kids and Counting family were immersed in the molestation scandal that broke back in May leading to the cancellation of the show, they have been trying to keep a low profile. However, with the latest scandal that has been making headlines, we don't think that family will get back to normal anytime soon. It was revealed that Josh was said to have an account on the Ashley Madison website, which is a social media site where people who are looking for affairs sign up to pursue other people. Although the cheating scandal was just being speculated about at first, Josh Duggar just confirmed the reports in a shocking new confession.
According to Radar Online, Josh Duggar came clean about his involvement on Ashley Madison and also about his cheating on his wife earlier today.
"I have been the biggest hypocrite ever," the eldest 19 Kids and Counting star explained in a statement on the family's website. "While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the Internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife."
The star continued apologizing for his actions saying, "I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him."
Gawker was the first to report on the news where they exposed that Josh was into "one-night stands," "experimenting with sex toys," and "liked to receive oral sex."
The star also asked fans for "forgiveness" and that they "please pray for my precious wife Anna," and his family.
