Pregnant 'American Idol' Kelly Clarkson "Frightened" to Have Another Baby

Kelly Clarkson is "totally pregnant" again, but is a little frightened to have another baby. According to People, Clarkson once told them earlier this year that she wanted more kids in the future with her husband, Brandon Blackstock, but was scared because her daughter, River Rose, is "so perfect."

"I'm frightened to have another one," the singer said back in February. "I want another one - like in a couple years."

Clarkson added, "But I'm just a little frightened because she's so perfect."

The soon-to-be mother-of-two claims that her daughter is a wonderful sleeper, and a very cheerful and happy baby. Clarkson feels like her second child may be the opposite of its older sister. "I feel like something horrible's gonna come out of me. Because she's so great like, the yin to her yang."

The former American Idol claims that she isn't going to speak those words into existence. Clarkson says she is only going to put positive vibes on her second pregnancy.

"But I won't put that out there," she declares. "I'm gonna project happiness."

MStars News previously reported that Clarkson announced her second pregnancy during the performance of her song "Piece by Piece" at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

"I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm totally pregnant," the singer said while tearing up. Kelly's fans seemed delighted by the news, resulting in plenty of cheering and yelling with excitement.

The singer didn't mean to go onstage and share her pregnancy news, but she claims her hormones got the best of her: "That was unplanned. I'm honestly so hormonal today."

"We've told our family. Well, some of them, not all of them. But I was crying and I didn't want you to think I was crazy," Kelly explained.

She also revealed that she hasn't been getting morning sickness like she had during her first pregnancy.

Kelly claimed that she hasn't "vomited yet. That is a freakin' win, y'all."

River Rose, now 1 year old, was born on June 12 back in 2014.
