'Supernatural' Misha Collins Attacked and Injured at Fan Convention

Misha Collins might be more like his Supernatural character than fans thought. While the actor plays angel Castiel on the CW series, he proved to have an angel watching out for him the other days after getting into a pretty scary situation with some not so friendly people. It is being reported that while Collins was at a Supernatural convention over the weekend that he was attacked, mugged and injured after leaving a restaurant near the convention center.

Following the incident, Jim Beavers, who is also a star of the series, took to his Facebook account, according to Just Jared to post an update regarding Misha's condition.

"My buddy and Supernatural colleague Misha Collins was followed out of a restaurant in Minneapolis by three men last night and beaten and robbed," Collin's co-star wrote on the post. "He's all right, more or less, with some stitches and a fat lip."

According to Movie Fone, the incident caused the 41-year-old actor to sit out the second night of the panel, but he did show up to the event and posed in pictures with fans hiding his cuts and bruises. He also reached out on his Twitter to let his fans know that he was doing fine.

"Hey guys! Thanks for all the well-wishes," the actor wrote on his Twitter page Saturday night. "Just want u to know I've got some minor scrapes. I'm totally fine! Love u guys."

Supernatural fans might just be the most loyal fanbase out there, and to show their dedication to the series and it's stars, they got the hashtag #WeLoveYouMisha trending on Twitter after learning about the incident.

In happier news, co-star Jensen Ackles and Misha took a cute sunset boat ride together last week, further showing their adorable bromance to the world.

"Somehow having a good time on a boat even though nobody knows what they're doing. #NervousSmile," Jensen wrote on the Instagram picture.
