Isidro Zavala Murder/Suicide: Kills Two Sons After Wife Files For Divorce, Leaves 'Emotional' Letter Behind For Oldest Son
Isidro Zavala, 45 strangled his two sons in front of his wife, Victoria Zavala who begged that he killed her instead of their children and then shot himself. According to Boynton Beach Police, Zavala planned the murder suicide in order to leave his wife in pain to suffer after she filed for divorce.
Zavala walked into his wife's home and strangled his 11 and 12- year old sons to death as she pleaded that he take her life. Neighbor, Neile Alcin said, "I don't know why someone would do something like that to the kids. I'm sorry, they didn't deserve it." Neile's son, Billy Aclin feels the blow from losing two friends, "I'm going to miss them because we're not playing with them any more. We're not going to play Playstation no more. We're not going to see each other no more."
Isidro and Victoria had been married since 1993 and in October Victoria finally filed for divorce. Upset about the filing Detective Christopher Crawford of the Boynton Beach Police Department said, "She said why won't you kill me, why don't you kill me. And he said, no you're going to live with this."
An emotional note was left to the couple's 19-year-old son who was no killed, which expressed his father's love for his oldest child. According to Police, there were no reports about domestic violence or child abuse at the home.
