It has been quite the week for Josh Duggar and the 19 Kids and Counting family. The former TLC reality family has once again found themselves in the middle of a controversy following the Ashley Madison cheating website data leak. While it was previously reported that Josh confessed to having a profile on the extramarital social media site, it is now being revealed that the eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle has checked himself into a rehabilitation center to get help for stepping out on his wife Anna.

The former reality family took to their website to issue an official statement regarding their son, Josh's decision to enter a facility, on Aug. 26. "We are so thankful for the outpouring of love, care and prayers for our family during this most difficult situation with Josh," the statement on the family's website explained. "As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son's decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear."

Us Weekly is reporting that Josh's decision to enter the treatment center comes less than a week after he opened up about cheating on his wife Anna, who he has been together with for seven years. The couple also shares four kids together, the youngest of which was born last month.

Josh did however issue an apology following the news-making headlines last week, as he wrote, "I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the Internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife."

This is the second scandal that Josh Duggar has found himself in within the last few months, as it was reported back in May that the star has sexually molested five girls, while he was underage, including his two sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar.
