Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are burning up all of the gossip sites with news of their relationship, which started on the set of 2011's The Oranges. The two started their careers on two of the biggest Teen Drama television series in the last 20 years. With Meester and Broday dating, dreams are coming true with everyone's favorite "Gossip Girl" and cool "O.C" nerd coming together in some sort of fantasy match-up.

The 26-year-old Leighton Meester rose to fame as the conniving Blair Waldorf on "Gossip Girl." The six-season drama followed New York City's elite youths through trials, tribulations and general sexiness, with Waldorf taking charge and breaking hearts each week. The show also featured Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick as Serena, Dan, and Chuck Bass (the last name NEEDS to be there) respectively. Viewers ranged from young teens into the older young adults who often claimed their fandom on "guity pleasure" pleadings. What it really came down to was Blair and Chuck. Even when the show was lacking, the two meanest characters always kepts the ratings up. Meester's performance as Blair Waldorf gained her critcal acclaim and pushed her into the spotlight. She went on to star in a handful of feature films including Date NightThe Roommate and Country Strong. One of her latest films, The Oranges, allowed her to meet her current beau, Adam Brody, and thus this story is happening!

Adam Brody has been making young girls swoon ever since his time on "The O.C" as Seth Cohen. People still refer to the 33-year-old actor by his character name even after the shows final season in 2007. "The O.C." was a ground breaking resurgence of the teen drama, taking cues from past shows like "Beverly Hills 90210. Seth Cohen was even a catalyst in the "dorky yet cool" persona and some may even credit the character with the start of the "hipster" appeal. "The O.C" defiitely paved the way for shows like "Gossip Girl" to garner success. Brody moved on to the big screen with roles in The Land of Women, Jennifer's Body, and Scream 4. After meeting Meester on the set of The Oranges, the two have kept their relationship from tabloids until recently vactioning together in Bangkok in January and making it public this week.

"The O.C." and "Gossip Girl" were both created by Josh Schwartz and are considered his most succesful projects. Schwartz ha yet to comment on the news of Meester and Brody's relationship.
