Sarah Palin Interviews Donald Trump About Presidential Campaign
If you've been wondering what Sarah Palin's been up to as of late, well, we've got an answer. The former Republican VP candidate, who ran with Senator John McCain back in 2008, is currently hosting a YouTube series for One America News (OAN). And she's recently spoken to leading presidential candidate Donald Trump about his presidency and how he's become the popular choice throughout the country's right wing.
Palin kicked off the interview by asking how he believes the economy is doing, to which he claims it's "terrible" and something needs to be done.
Further topics in the interview dealt with tax codes – something "nobody understands," according to Trump – helping the middle class, and the former Celebrity Apprentice host's rather famous campaign.
Palin called Trump a "truth-talker" during the interview, something she coins because her belief that military men and women are backing him after being "punched in the nose" by President Barack Obama for the past eight years.
"You're one of the people that would know because you have that connection also, Sarah," Trump responded. "One of the reasons I've always liked you so much, you and your family. You have that connection and its really pretty simple."
After throwing compliments at one another, Trump was asked a very hard-hitting question: where he got the guts for the "necessary confrontation" for dealing with a recent "radical activist" during a press conference.
By the way, the "radical activist" was journalist Jorge Ramos. You know, that "gotcha" guy from Univision. In fact, Trump is suing Univision for $500 million. But that was before the Ramos interaction.
So, the main grab from the above interview? Sarah Palin and Donald Trump like each other. Oh, and apparently Trump loves the Bible?
