An adorable poodle-Shih Tzu mix pup with a unique face that looks "eerily human-like" is in need of a good home! Tonik the dog currently resides at the Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group in Mishawaka, IN after being rescued from a Kentucky kill shelter. The entertainment-based blog Gawker originally found young Tonik's profile on Petfinder, and pointed out that he has quite the "eerily humanoid" face. The "dog with the human face" instantly went viral on the web, and he can be your new cuddly pet for just a $250 adoption fee. But some readers are still left wondering what all the hype's about... he's just a dog! Should his "human face-like" features make him so famous?

He is great with other dogs. He is not dangerous, but should not be placed with young children because he will get too overwhelmed. He will need a home with lots of patience & good energy. His approx.birth date is 02/01/11 and he weighs 11#. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, heart worm tested negative is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies & has been treated with advantage multi per our protocol.
