J Cole Hometown Concert: Jay Z, Big Sean & Drake Surprise Fayetteville Fans on Tour
The small town of Fayetteville, North Carolina got a huge musical treat this week when native rapper J Cole suprised his hometown fans with major rappers including Jay Z, Drake and Big Sean during the 2015 Forest Hills Drive Tour concert.
According to ABC 11 News, Saturday night was crazy at the Crown Complex as Cole brought out the top artists during his closing performance of his Forest Hills Drive tour.
The rapper, who moved to the town when he was only 8 months old, tweeted: "History was made in the Ville," as he was successful in making a few wishes come true, not only for himself, but for the town who raised him.
He added another tweet that read: "FHD Tour. Classic. For the books. Words can't even do it justice. Thank you."
ABC 11 claimed that the concert was a sold out event, where at least 8,000 people rocked to the sounds of Cole's "No Role Modelz," Big Sean's "Blessed," Drake's hit "Back 2 Back," and of course Jay Z's hits. In the video below, Jay Z took the stage as the crowd went wild.
Drake really had the crowd pumped when he came out on the stage, "runnin' through the 6 with my woes."
Oh, and of course he performed "Back 2 Back."
