Kanye West VMAs Speech [VIDEO] Cut to Resemble Stand-Up Comedy Performance

Who knew Kanye West was such a funny guy? All of his public appearances sure as hell don't show that. But something that does? This recut of West's now famous ranting waste of time acceptance speech at this year's VMAs. So, if you were curious what West would be like as a stand-up comedian, well, here's your chance.

In a new video from David Elmaleh, West's Video Vanguard Award acceptance speech is cut up to look as if he were performing a stand-up set. And while we're thrilled this now exists, we can't help but feel a little bit badly for Elmaleh, considering he had to watch this train wreck over and over and over again to get it just right.

Luckily, all of his hard work paid off. Take a look:

So, should West move his career from music and fashion to comedy? Apparently he's already got the material – he just didn't know it.

And don't worry, just because your grandfather isn't around to stop you from running for president doesn't mean the entire rest of the world won't try and stop you – except for the Kardashians. They might be all for it. But, thankfully, it's not like that family has a lot of power or something and can sway the minds of young voters over the years until 2020 rolls around.
