Beyonce Lost $1.8 Million Emerald Inauguration Earrings, Hubby Jay-Z Helps In The Search

Beyonce almost goes crazy after losing her $1.8 million emerald earrings. The singer and her maids frantically searched for her most talked about inauguration accessories, until her husband, Jay-z came to her rescue.

According to the National Enquirer, Beyonce arrived to her D.C. hotel suite and doubled check to see if her expensive earrings were where she had left them. When the 80-carat accessories didn't turn up, Beyonce went into a mad panic a close friend says,  "After she and hubby JAY-Z checked into their hotel, Beyonce unpacked her bags and couldn't find the earrings - which cost more than a luxury home."

Desperate to find her prized possessions, she ransacked her room, throwing everything around to find them, "She rummaged through her luggage in a panic, getting her maid - and other housekeepers - to join the search."

When Jay-Z, walked into the room to find his wife in dismay, and a room torn apart, he begged her to relax and asked her, "Did you check your purse?"

Beyonce then snapped on him saying, "You think I'm an idiot? Of course I did!"

Calmly, Jay-Z then asked her the same question again and told her to double check, "Jay quietly urged her to check again, so she opened it up to show him, and... Voila!...there were the earrings! Beyonce gasped. She thought she'd checked her purse, but it turned out she'd been so stressed, she actually hadn't!"

For the maids help, Beyonce rewarded them for not even finding the earrings a source says, "Beyonce then handed the maid a $500 reward for helping search - and Jay went NUTS," said the friend. "He told Beyonce, 'Man, I'm the one who found them! Why don't you pay ME?'"

We're pretty sure Beyonce rewarded her husband in a number of ways.
