Dear Fat People [VIDEO] Causes Online Debate, Celebrity Twitter Wars

The online world seems up in storm after a video was released titled "Dear Fat People" from comedian Nicole Arbour in which she appears to be "fat-shaming" obese people. The video has sparked not only controversy but also Twitter wars from celebrities on both sides of the argument. Some claim that what Arbour did was wrong while some appear to agree that we cannot compare fat-shaming to that of discriminating against race, gender and sexual preference.

CNN reports that the video caused Arbour's YouTube profile to be completely shut down this past Saturday afternoon. In fact, she even received an email from Google with a warning that she had violated the terms.

In the video, Arbour claims, "Fat shaming is not a thing. Fat people made that up."

She then claimed that while there is a race card and disability card, there is indeed no "fat card."

She did say, however, that she is not referring to those with health issues, but more so people who willfully make themselves obese by eating unhealthily.

"If we offend you so much that you lose weight, I'm okay with that. I'll sleep at night," the comedian said in the video.
