The Minnesota Twins take the field against the Kansas City Royals in Week 23 of the regular season on Wednesday, September 9 at 8:10 p.m. EST at Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium in Missouri. While Kansas City maintains an extremely high spot in ESPN.com's official break-down of all 30 teams (power rankings), Minnesota still lags a few spots behind:

With that, Minnesota snags a steady 71-67 winning record and is now 2nd in the American League Central Division. The series is currentlt tied 1-1 heading into Game 3.
