Lady Gaga Injured: Postpones Her Tour, Tweets ‘I've Been Praying It Would Heal’
Pop star Lady Gaga announced that she was suffering from "show injury" and having "chronic pain for sometime," resulting in the postponement of her upcoming tour performance in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton, Ontario.
Gaga did not know how to tell this to her fans and revealed that she had been hiding it. She Tweeted saying, "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal."
The 26-year-old singer revealed that she hid her injury form her staff and she asks forgiveness from fans in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton. She also told her more than 34 million followers in Twitter that she has been asked by her doctor to rest due to synovitis.
"I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't," she wrote in Twitter.
"To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im devasted & sad," "It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry."
"Due to a case of synovitis, (severe inflammation of joints) Gaga's doctor has ordered her to postpone show in Chicago, Detroit + Hamilton," she sadly revealed.
Gaga has postponed her three North American tour dates : 2/13, 2/14 - Chicago, IL; 2/16 - Detroit, MI; 2/17 - Hamilton, ON due to synovitis that causes severe inflammation of the joints in the leg.
She will be getting one week rest before her Philadelphia and New York shows and she would like to get up on her feet and make her fans groove to her songs. Hopefully the singer will will recover by then.
