2 Chainz Arrested for Weed Possession [PHOTO]: Rapper Poses with Arresting Maryland Officers, Tweets Cops 'Fu##in' With Me'

Reports confirm that rapper 2 Chainz was arrested in Maryland on Valentine's Day evening (Feb. 14) and charged with marijuana and paraphernalia possession. The 35-year-old hip-hop star was slapped with a citation and promptly released, but not before the arresting officers asked him to pose for a picture... 2 Chainz later hit up Twitter, claiming that the cops were just "fu##in' with a ni##a." The rapper made it in time for a performance at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore later that night, but not before tweeting a photo of himself standing between the two officers who handcuffed him.

According to TMZ, the "Spend It" star was traveling in a white van headed towards the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with six other passengers on Thursday when the vehicle was pulled over around 10 p.m. 2 Chainz was the only individual arrested and taken into custody because police claim he was the only one in possession of weed.

2 Chainz was booked at a nearby station and promptly released with a citation... but not before posing for a pic with the arresting officers. According to the rapper, the cops were the ones that actually asked for the snapshot. Before hitting up his concert at the University, 2 Chainz sent out this thread of heated tweets:

TMZ recently reached out to the Maryland State Police, and when questioned who exactly asked for the photo, a rep stated, "We cannot confirm who initiated that at this time."

Hmm... what do Mstarz readers think - did the arresting officers actually have the nerve to ask 2 Chainz for a pic after booking him? According to the rapper, pot wasn't even in his possession at the time... just a grinder.
