Tony Iommi Of Black Sabbath And Brain May of Queen Reveal Collaboration Album: Riff Masterpiece Planned
Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi and Queen's Brian May, both master guitarists are planning on creating a "riffs" album.
Their "riffs" album will give their fans a chance to write and compose songs using the music from their album. Iommi and May will start recording for their album soon, Loudwire reported.
This is a new idea and was supposed to be kept a secret until Iommi blew if off by mistake while giving an interview to Kerrang!
"When are we going to get to work on that album of riffs together? You know what I'm talking about," said Iommi.
For which May replies, "Yes, I do know what he's talking about, and I'm very, very keen. The record he's talking about was supposed to be a secret, but I guess he's blown it now."
The credit for this new idea goes to May who saw huge amount of unreleased material when he visited Iommi's studio.
"I thought it would be great to make a compilation out of them. The idea was to put all these riffs out in some form so that people could build their own songs from them. You could make your own music with Tony Iommi on guitar!" said May.
There is no information as yet on when this album will roll out.
