Ann Coulter “Jews” Tweet Slammed During CNN Republican Debate
Last night's Republican debate on CNN seems to be grabbing headlines left and right today – largely because of a certain orange-y billionaire (Donald Trump) – but what's also gaining attention is a tweet from right-winger Ann Coulter. The oh-so-outspoken personality made a comment regarding Jewish people on Twitter that left a bad taste on the mouths of quite a few people.
Salon.com called Coulter's tweet, in which she asked the American people how many "f*cking Jews" the Republican candidates think are in the United States, a harsh criticism of the GOP candidates. And, well, an "ugly rant."
Her comment came after she mentioned that Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Mike Huckabee all mention Israel to the question, "What will American look like after you are president?"
She further questioned that perhaps the responses were merely done so in order to "suck up to the Evangelicals" of the country.
Despite the naysayers and haters online, Coulter remained solid in her opinion that what she was saying was not anti-Semitic.
In the end, as usual with politics, everyone on both sides went their own way, with several people saying Coulter's comments were either "stupid" or "anti-Semitic." To that, she claims that if people disagreed, then they were not watching the same debate.
