The injury prone Dallas Cowboys' Quarterback, Tony Romo fractured his left clavicle, yet again. Romo sustained the injury in the third quarter on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles as he lost the ball as Eagles' Jordan Hicks drove him to the ground. This is the same injury that shelved him for the season in 2010. As per Yahoo! Sports, Romo went down, landing on his left shoulder, which ultimately led to the fracturing of his clavicle. Romo will be undergoing a CT scan on Monday to determine whether or not the quarterback will need surgery.

"I'll be back," Romo said to Erin Andrews after the game, via Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports. "It's going to take a little bit of time. It's a broken bone. It is what it is."

As reported by CBS Sports, Romo is expected to miss eight weeks with the injury.

"We have to determine how much muscle damage there is in the shoulder," Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio. "Then we will have a better idea on the length of time he will miss."

According to Bleacher Report, Romo brought the Cowboys stability at the quarterback position for the past decade and continued to improve. According to NFL.com, Romo had arguably his finest season in 2014, throwing 3,705 yards and scoring 34 touchdowns all while completing an NFL-best, 69.9 percent of his passes, as Romo led the Cowboys to the postseason. The Cowboys were merely a controversial call away from reaching the NFC Championship Game.

This broken clavicle injury is all too similar to the one Romo suffered in the 2010 season. Back when the Cowboys were playing the New York Giants, Giants' linebacker Michael Boley drove Romo into the ground in an extremely similar manner:

Despite the 20-10 win against the Eagles, going 2-0 into the rest of the season, the loss of Romo is bigger than the win.

"It was a great victory," said defensive end Jeremy Mincey. "But a huge loss."
