Katy Perry And John Mayer’s Wedding To Be An Intimate Affair

Singers Katy Perry and John Mayer's wedding will be a very intimate wedding as the couple is planning to invite only close family and friends for the wedding, according to an insider, according to British Grazia.

Perry and Mayer have been dating since 2012. Mayer had previously said that his relationship with Perry was "very human." Perry was spotted wearing a ruby ring that was heart-shaped on her Valentine's Day dinner. The ring had sent the rumors on a high. Now an insider has revealed that the ring was in fact a gift from Mayer showing his commitment to her.

The marriage will be close to where Perry grew up, Santa Barbara. The marriage will be a low-key affair unlike her past marriage with comedian Russell Brand.

"Katy and John want to have a really intimate traditional ceremony with only their closest friends and family. They're both from fairly traditional families and don't want a big party," a source told British Grazia.

"They had so much fun when they visited her hometown that Katy and John have both agreed it would make sense to do it there. They loved San Ysidro because it's so private and peaceful with amazing scenery."

Mayer's friends were shocked to know that Mayer himself went to shop for a ring for Perry. 

"While this might not be the official ring, it's a symbol of their commitment. Katy and John's relationship has become very serious very quickly," the source explained British Grazia.

"Katy always swore she wouldn't rush into marriage again, but they get on so well and she really thinks he's changed. His friends can't believe how much she has tamed him, and Katy's parents absolutely adore him."

Mayer was previously romantically linked to Jessica Simpson, Jenifer Anniston and Taylor Swift. He shocked his fans when he revealed that he wants to settle down. Mayer seems to be a changed man now.
