Lil Wayne’s Claim That He Is Banned From NBA False, Says NBA Spokesperson

Rapper Lil Wayne might have gone overboard about being barred from attending NBA's league events.

Lil Wayne had claimed some days earlier that he was shown the door after he rooted for L.A. Lakers during the Miami Heat match. He later vented out his anger against NBA, Miami Heat and Miami Heat players during the NBA All-Star Weekend.

He also dissed Miami Heat players - LeBron, She Wade and Chris Bosh. He even revealed his affair with Bosh's wife saying he slept with her.

TMZ reported Senior Director of Basketball Communications for the NBA, Mark Broussard, as saying that there is "no truth at all" to what Wayne said about being banned from attending NBA events. Broussard even told TMZ that Wayne was not booted out as claimed by him but he voluntarily left the Miami Heat game.

This is not Wayne's first beef with the National Basketball Association. He had previously claimed that he was banned from Oklahoma City Thunder play-off game, this was later denied by the team organization.
