Naya Rivera Gives Birth to Son, 'Glee' Star Welcomes First Child With Husband Ryan Dorsey

Glee star Naya Rivera has given birth to her first baby -- a son with husband Ryan Dorsey. The 28-year-old actress and her husband of the last year welcomed their new son last month in Los Angeles, a fact that was revealed by sources in the latest issue of Us Weekly magazine.

Although the news is just breaking, it looks like the two have already had time to break in their new parent shoes, and sources say they are doing a great job. "They are so excited to be first-time parents. It was a very easy pregnancy and birth,” an insider revealed to the magazine. The mag continued, "Naya was born to be a mother and is doing really great so far. And Ryan has amazing paternal instincts and has been waiting on them both hand and foot.”

The two have kept pretty mum since Rivera broke the news of her pregnancy back in February, which she posted to her Instagram page and included a photo of a bun in the oven. There hasen’t been many details revealed behind the couple’s journey with the pregnancy, but Rivera did post some photoshoot pictures to her page from her third trimester.

The actress commented on feeling her baby kick for the first time in a blog post, stating, "There is one thing about the second trimester that makes it all worthwhile: Those first real kicks from your baby. I will never forget the moment Ryan felt the baby kick for the first time. It truly was one of those precious memories I will have forever."

Rivera and Dorsey’s marriage from July 2014 was met with some controversy, as they walked down the aisle just months after her rocky, public breakup from rapper, Big Sean. After the news of their marriage, Sean began dating singer Ariana Grande, but ended their relationship about eight months later.
