'Arrow' Season 4 SPOILERS: Episode 3 "Restoration" Official Plot Description Released

The Season 4 premiere of Arrow airs Wednesday, but we already have a decent idea of the first few episodes thanks to some spoilers contained in the release of official plot descriptions. The latest one is for Episode 3, entitled "Restoration," so let's see what is in store for us.

Comic Book Movie posted the plot description, and we learn that this episode will contain the beginning of the resurrection of Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) as the White Canary. Check it out below:

"LAUREL TAKES HER SISTER TO NANDA PARBAT — The growing tension between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) puts both their lives at risk when they go after Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and a H.I.V.E. deployed meta-human. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) talks Thea (Willa Holland) into returning to Nanda Parbat to ask her father (John Barrowman) to put Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) into the Lazarus Pit. However, Laurel is surprised when Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) refuses to do it. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Speed Weed."

There is plenty to dissect here, so let's break it down. First, it's apparent that the show is not repairing the relationship between Oliver and Diggle so quickly, which should create some interesting conflict. Oliver did what he had to do to stop Ra's al Ghul, and that included kidnapping Diggle's wife without his consent. That's not something you just fix with a fist bump.

Second, Damien Darhk will clearly be a major presence in the early portion of season, based on the descriptions for the premiere and Episode 3. So it looks like we won't have to wait long to really get into it with the villain of Season 4.

Finally, the whole situation with Laurel is interesting. It makes sense that she would be the one to want to bring Sara back to life (even though she'd already made peace with her death), and it also makes sense that she would use Thea's connection to the new Ra's to make that happen. But perhaps the most fascinating aspect of this is that Nyssa won't help her friend. We'll wager a guess that she knows how dangerous the Lazarus Pit can be, so she doesn't want her former lover to suffer.
